Suggestion
There is definitely an issue re the quality of design the City is getting particularly in newly developed communities. Perhaps the City could provide some sort of incentives for innovations in design or with the use of new materials. What makes PS an architectural destination is the innovative design created during the 50's, 60's & 70's. I have great appreciation for MCM architecture but to ask today's developers to recreate it is resulting in a bastardization of the style and creating really ugly buildings. It's time to encouirage developers and their architects to think outside the box and to come up with a new & innovative design vocabulary.
